Philippa Kotzen (Graff) was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1959. 

She showed an interest in art from an early age, and it has continued to be her passion throughout her life.

Philippa paints and teaches from her home.

She attends various workshops, keeping up with current art trends, and works in close association with Lynda Ballen.

She runs art classes for adults from her home.

Philippa is married to David Kotzen and they have 3 children.
